Photo 4: A regional work vehicle was rear-ended by a driver without a license in Woolwich resulting in serious injury to the regional employee.
Photo 5: Elmira Maple Syrup Festival brought out thousands of visitors to sample even more maple treats including these pancakes being fried up in large numbers.

Photo 7: A lone Hamilton Police vehicle sits outside a hanger at the Region of Waterloo Airport. The hanger was related to the Millard murder investigation.
Photo 8: This plane performed at the Waterloo Air Show in June, later crashing in Ohio, fatally injuring both the pilot and wing walker.
Photo 9: An empty wheelchair was discovered beside a pond in Victoria Park in Kitchener leading a search by police divers and the eventual recovery of a body in June.
Photo 10: A suspicious package was discovered following a bank robbery in Cambridge in July, although later discovered to be inert.
